This summer, for our Simply Dinner Ministry, we provided more free meals than any other year. We started the summer off serving 192 meals and ended the summer serving 300. We provided a total of 2,254 meals over the course of 9 weeks. We had nine churches and one extended family, alongside a local Masonic lodge, help provide the food and the service during that time. This ministry gives us the opportunity not only to meet the physical needs of some of our families in our community, but also the need for connection. As each person opens their dinner, they have a message of God's love that has been put on top of their box. This specific ministry points directly to what we are about: Meeting Needs – Sharing Christ. Thanks to everyone who helped this ministry happen.
